5.21.1. Pattern check duration is not restored after

restart warm

(BZ#: 8986)

Description: Pattern check duration is not restored after a restart warm or powercyle of the NM.

Suggested Work-Around: User has to reissue the pattern-check duration command.

Customer Impact: Moderate.

Corrective Action: This issue is fixed in v4.7 fdr 30 and later releases.

5.21.2. Tester ports don't get link after DMR10G reboot

(BZ#: 9199)

Description: Connect DMR10G ports to a tester and start traffic. Reboot DMR10G. Occasionally,

the tester ports don't show link after DMR10G reboots. DMR10G displays correct link, map, and protocol.

Suggested Work-Around: Toggle protocolcommand on corresponding DMR10G port for the

link partner to recover link.

Customer Impact: Moderate.

Corrective Action: This issue is fixed in FPGA 0x000c and later.

5.21.3. Link down event results in three traps

(BZ#: 9238)

Description: When a port link is down, NM sometimes sends three traps; Link down, followed by

Link Changed (Link Up), and then Link Down again. This is due to port polling just missing FPGA link

changed bit and reading it at the next poll. There is no actual toggling of the link from down to up to

down again.

Suggested Work-Around: None.

Customer Impact: Minor.

Corrective Action: This issue has been fixed.
